Description For Support Engineer, Kindle Ingestion and Expansion

The Kindle Ingestion and Expansion (KIX) team at Amazon is seeking a Support Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial in enabling independent authors, content creators, and publishers to publish their content as eBooks for distribution to the Kindle Store, Kindle Unlimited, and the Kindle Owners' Lending Library. The position involves working with Amazon's state-of-the-art Print on Demand (POD) technology and supporting the digital publishing ecosystem.

As a Support Engineer, you'll be part of a team providing Tier 2&3 production support services and working closely with Kindle digital product development teams. The role requires strong technical skills in Python, Perl, or shell scripting, along with experience in troubleshooting and debugging complex systems. You'll be responsible for handling support tickets, developing maintenance tools, and ensuring smooth deployment of software in various environments.
