The Kindle Ingestion and Expansion (KIX) team at Amazon enables independent authors, content creators and publishers to publish their content as eBooks for distribution to the Kindle Store, Kindle Unlimited and the Kindle Owners' Lending Library, as well as in print formats using Amazon's Print on Demand technology.
As a Support Engineer on the KIX team, you will:
- Provide Tier 2&3 production support services
- Handle troubleshooting tasks across multiple products and services
- Work on operations and maintenance coding projects using Python, Perl, shell scripts
- Support software deployments in staging and production environments
- Develop tools for operations and maintenance
- Handle system and support status reporting
- Take ownership of digital products or components
- Manage customer notifications and workflow coordination
