Join Amazon's Transportation Financial Systems (TFS) team as a Support Engineer, where you'll be working on critical technology components that handle financial activities for Amazon's transportation business. TFS systems are integral across all transportation programs and retail expansion, providing essential functions like financial document creation & management, expense auditing, accounting, payments, and cost allocation.

The role combines both financial system expertise and transportation domain knowledge, focusing on building highly scalable solutions that reconcile transportation financial accounts with zero manual intervention. You'll be part of a team developing a global product suite for all freight modes, touching every package movement across Amazon.

As a Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving these critical systems through troubleshooting, monitoring, and implementing solutions. Your day-to-day activities will include debugging production issues, developing monitoring solutions, performing software maintenance, implementing code fixes in various languages (Perl, Ruby, Java), and conducting SQL queries.

The position requires strong technical skills combined with excellent communication abilities. You'll work closely with development teams on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects, focusing on system enhancement, support process automation, and comprehensive documentation.
