Responsibilities For System Dev Engineer, Kuiper Satellite Release management

  • Own setting the bar for the performance of satellite control software and improving reliability
  • Design and develop hardware test-bed for software validation prior to space deployment
  • Scale manual processes to fully automated software-driven processes
  • Create and implement automated processes to increase efficiency and scalability
  • Provide on-shift support for critical issues
  • Work with internal teams to ensure smooth roll-out of new processes and build systems
  • Create and review documentation and processes

Requirements For System Dev Engineer, Kuiper Satellite Release management

Java
  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience
  • 1+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylum seeker due to export control laws
