AWS Region Reliability Engineering (RRE) team is seeking talented Systems Development Engineers to ensure the seamless operation of AWS's dedicated cloud regions. This role combines development, operations, networking, and systems engineering to deliver operational excellence at scale. The position focuses on creating resilient cloud systems for mission-critical operations and applying cutting-edge AI technologies like Amazon Bedrock to solve complex challenges.

The role involves working with a team that handles AWS's largest government customers, requiring TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. You'll be responsible for developing innovative solutions to reduce manual intervention, conducting system deep dives, and implementing secure, reliable cloud solutions for U.S. Intelligence and Defense agencies.

As part of AWS Utility Computing (UC), you'll support foundational services like Amazon S3 and EC2, while contributing to new product innovations.
