Amazon is seeking a talented System Development Engineer to join their WW Technology Deployment organization, focusing on Deployment Readiness (DR) for Amazon Robotics. This role is crucial in ensuring robotics technologies are thoroughly tested and validated before large-scale deployments.

The position involves working at the intersection of software, hardware, and automation, contributing to Amazon's global network of fulfillment centers. You'll be part of a team responsible for vetting and testing robotics technologies as they mature through the development pipeline, identifying and resolving issues before widespread deployment.

Key responsibilities include conducting strategic DR projects, interfacing with field deployment and hardware teams, developing and validating deployment models, and leveraging lab facilities for controlled experimentation. You'll work on improving deployment efficiency, analyzing performance metrics, and establishing best practices for robotics system deployment.

The ideal candidate brings a combination of technical expertise in engineering, programming skills (Python, Matlab), and experience with CAD software.
