System Development Engineer, Field Oper Return & ReCommerce

Amazon's Worldwide Returns, ReCommerce & Sustainability (WW RR&S) team is seeking a System Development Engineer to join their innovative organization dedicated to 'making zero happen'. The role focuses on supporting software applications responsible for shipment, item availability, customer promises, and fulfillment services. As part of a team working to eliminate defects causing returns, deliver zero cost returns, and achieve net-zero carbon emissions, you'll be instrumental in developing sustainable re-use channels.

The position requires expertise in troubleshooting production software, developing monitoring solutions, and implementing fixes using various programming languages. You'll work with distributed systems, handle high-impact production issues, and coordinate across multiple teams including Development, Operations, and IT Support.
