The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) Tech team at Amazon, part of Finance Automation, is seeking a System Development Engineer to join their innovative team. This role is crucial in developing services, products, and tools that enable Amazon's corporate real estate team to manage facilities across 60+ countries, supporting the world's largest corporate real estate footprint.

The position involves building and maintaining systems that deliver seamless workspace experiences to over half a million employees. You'll work on various domains including space planning, design and construction, employee health and safety, sustainability, and IoT-enabled building management systems.

As a System Development Engineer, you'll collaborate with stakeholders, engineering teams, and product management to define business strategy, requirements, and deliver solutions while ensuring security. The role requires strong technical skills in infrastructure automation, programming, and Linux/Unix environments.

Key responsibilities include interfacing with customers, monitoring system performance, expanding applications for new launches, and addressing hardware and software risks.
