System Development Engineer II, Amazon

Amazon Selection and Catalog Systems (ASCS) is seeking a System Development Engineer II to join their Services Support Team under Catalog Support and Programs (CSP). This role is crucial in supporting the world's largest e-Commerce products catalog, which processes hundreds of millions of updates across billions of products. As a System Development Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing Service Level issue support to ASCS Engineering teams, managing tier 1-3 systems, and ensuring software packages remain vulnerability-free. The role involves setting up metrics, monitoring alarms, and driving root cause resolutions for recurring issues.

The ideal candidate will possess strong system/tool coding abilities and AWS services understanding. You'll work with diverse data sets and cross-functional teams to drive process improvement. The position requires excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to learn complex systems quickly, and strong communication skills to work effectively with engineering teams.
