Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is seeking an experienced System Development Engineer to lead software development for robotic products in their future Delivery Stations. This role combines robotics engineering with automation expertise, requiring someone who can bridge the gap between complex mechatronics systems and software development. The position involves working with cutting-edge automation technologies, developing software architectures, and implementing solutions that directly impact Amazon's last-mile delivery capabilities.

The role sits within the Amazon Logistics Innovation Engineering team, where you'll collaborate with diverse teams including Robotics, Software Tech, Process Engineering, Operations, and Facilities. You'll be responsible for developing and optimizing software for industrial automation systems, working with various protocols and technologies including TIA Portal, Codesys, HMI, and industrial fieldbuses.
