System Development Engineer, WW AMZL Innovation and Design Engineering

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is seeking an experienced System Development Engineer to spearhead software development for robotic integration in their future Delivery Stations. As part of the Amazon Logistics Innovation Engineering team, you'll be responsible for strategizing, defining, and managing software development for robotics technologies. This role combines robotics expertise with engineering and analytical skills to directly influence Amazon's last-mile automation roadmap.

You'll work with cutting-edge automation systems, including industrial protocols, camera systems, and complex mechatronics products. The position requires advanced technical expertise in industrial automation systems, communication protocols, and object-oriented programming. You'll collaborate with diverse teams including Robotics, Software Tech Teams, Process Engineering, Operations, and Facilities to enhance the customer experience.

Daily responsibilities include developing and improving AMZL software, working with Product owners to define software architecture for new automation concepts, integrating vendor technologies, and testing solutions in Innovation Centers worldwide.
