Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Systems Development Engineer II to join their Amazon Dedicated Clouds (ADC) team, focusing on AI/ML solutions for U.S. Intelligence Community and Defense agencies. This role combines cloud computing expertise with security-focused implementation in air-gapped environments. The position involves designing, implementing, and supporting resilient, high-performance systems for government customers.

The role is part of the AI/ML U.S. Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) organization, which delivers secure AI and ML solutions in isolated environments. You'll work with services like SageMaker, Comprehend, Translate, Transcribe, Textract, Rekognition, and Bedrock in US ADC regions.

As a Systems Development Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions, troubleshooting complex problems, and participating in architecture reviews. The role requires strong Linux and networking fundamentals, programming skills, and experience with cloud technologies. You'll work in a fast-paced environment that combines the innovation of a startup with the resources of AWS.
