Systems Development Engineer II, ADC Analytics

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Systems Development Engineer II to join their ADC Analytics and Big Data Services team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with AWS's massive distributed systems and database offerings like Athena, OpenSearch, EMR, Glue, QuickSight, and more. The position requires deep Linux expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and a passion for coding, particularly in Java and Python.

The ideal candidate will be part of a dynamic team that combines Systems Engineers, System Development Engineers, and Software Engineers, working on large-scale solutions that impact thousands of devices. You'll be involved in designing, deploying, and operating managed services while building tools that engineers actually want to use.

This role requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and offers the opportunity to work in either Denver, CO or Herndon, VA. You'll be joining AWS's Utility Computing (UC) organization, supporting critical services including Amazon S3, EC2, and other innovative cloud solutions.
