Systems Development Engineer, Project Kuiper Enterprise Applications

Project Kuiper is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network focused on delivering fast, reliable internet globally. The Kuiper Enterprise Applications team manages mission-critical enterprise systems (ERP) for satellite manufacturing, handling end-to-end supply chain lifecycle processes.

As a Systems Development Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Designing and developing high-availability software services using AWS technologies
• Building solutions for demand planning, procurement, supplier collaboration, trade compliance, transportation, warehouse management, quality management, and production planning
• Creating systems that provide critical traceability information and track financial data
• Working with cross-disciplinary teams to design scalable integration solutions
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines using AWS stack
• Developing analytics solutions and working with databases

The role requires expertise in:

• Python programming and AWS services
• Data extraction using Glue jobs, Redshift, and DynamoDB
• Infrastructure as code using CloudFormation
• Linux/Unix systems
• Analytics development and SQL

This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $116,300 to $201,200 per year based on location, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. Due to export control laws, candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or have refugee/asylum status.
