AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to drive the evolution of Route 53 Resolver DNS Firewall and Route 53 Profiles. Responsibilities For Systems Development Engineer, Route 53 - DNS Security and DNS Management
- Design, develop, and deploy systems for global expansion of Route 53 Resolver DNS Firewall and Route 53 Profiles
- Establish operational excellence through automation, monitoring, and self-healing infrastructure
- Architect and implement new security features to defend against evolving DNS threats
- Create efficient, scalable systems for managing DNS filtering rules, policies, and configurations
- Build tools that simplify operational processes and improve service reliability
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices
- Partner with other AWS teams to integrate DNS security capabilities
Requirements For Systems Development Engineer, Route 53 - DNS Security and DNS Management
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
