TrafficShift is a critical service within AWS's Global Connectivity and Network Availability organization. The service enables fast event mitigation and safe deployment of configuration updates and operating system upgrades to Amazon's global network. As a Systems Development Engineer on the TrafficShift team, you'll be responsible for designing and developing key components of this network availability service.
You'll work with a diverse team of software and system development engineers, collaborating across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety, security, and availability. The role involves developing world-class software systems for automating Amazon's network, providing technical direction, creating and reviewing software design documentation, and owning the operational excellence of production software.
