Systems Engineer, APAC Controls Deployment Team

AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Systems Engineer for their APAC Controls Deployment Team. This role is crucial in maintaining and deploying control systems that monitor AWS data center health. As part of Amazon Web Services (AWS), you'll be responsible for supporting critical infrastructure services that power the world's premier cloud computing environment.

The position requires expertise in Windows and Linux systems administration, with a focus on maintaining highly-available IT infrastructure at massive scale. You'll be working with enterprise-level tools and technologies, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Hyper-V, and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). Strong scripting abilities in PowerShell and Python are essential, as is experience with automation and configuration management tools.

Key responsibilities include designing and supporting large Windows server environments, implementing enterprise-scale tooling, developing automation solutions, and participating in global deployment initiatives. You'll be part of a 24/7 on-call rotation supporting global customers and will need to travel up to 40% of the time.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
