Systems Engineer, Managed Operations

AWS is launching its first European Sovereign Cloud (ESC), representing a major advancement in utility computing. This role is part of the AWS Managed Operations team, focusing on building and leading operations for high-availability AWS services including EC2, S3, Dynamo, Lambda, and Bedrock specifically for EU customers. The position involves working with global AWS teams to influence service evolution and technology development, while ensuring optimal performance and reliability of the European Sovereign Cloud infrastructure. The role combines technical leadership, operational excellence, and strategic planning to deliver scalable services for EU customers. As part of AWS Utility Computing (UC), you'll support critical services across compute, database, storage, IoT, platform, and productivity applications.
