Responsibilities For Systems Engineer, Region Services

  • Review operational health of services
  • Identify anomalies and create bug reports
  • Provide feedback on change management documents
  • Address operational backlog
  • Develop and test scripts for workflow improvement
  • Participate in on-call rotations
  • Monitor and support AWS regions
  • Deploy changes into isolated regions
  • Educate service teams about Cloud complexities

Requirements For Systems Engineer, Region Services

Python
Linux
  • 5+ years of systems engineering experience with hardware, software, networking, operating systems
  • Proficient in creating and improving standard operational procedures (SOPs)
  • Proficient in driving operational best practices
  • Proficient scripting in Bash, Python, or Ruby
  • Proficient troubleshooting system performance and reliability issues
  • Must hold or be able to attain Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance
