Amazon's Manifesting and Labeling Technology Services (MLTS) team is seeking a Web Development Engineer to join their transportation technology division. This role focuses on developing Passport, a new carrier-facing product designed to streamline and modernize transportation services. MLTS provides critical Tier-1 transportation services, generating ship labels, carrier IDs, route codes, and manifest documents for all Amazon packages worldwide.

The position offers an opportunity to work on transformative technology that directly impacts Amazon's global logistics network. You'll be responsible for building sophisticated web interfaces that carriers use to interact with Amazon's shipping infrastructure. Requirements For Web Development Engineer, Ship tech

  • 2+ years of experience developing web-based user interfaces
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and Javascript frameworks (Angular JS, React, Backbone.js)
  • Knowledge of AWS systems and configurations

  • Experience with web services technologies (REST, SOAP, HTTP, JSON)
  • Understanding of software development life cycle
  • Experience with Agile development, peer code reviews and unit testing
