Process Engineer - Technology Center

Americas Styrenics LLC is seeking a Process Engineer for their Technology Center at the St James, LA facility. This role is integral to the EBSM (Ethylbenzene and Styrene) site operations, focusing on implementing effective chemical process technology and providing technical solutions. The position involves working closely with the St James Operations team on various aspects including capital projects, expense projects, productivity, quality, energy conservation, process safety, and cost improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing process documentation, implementing Most Effective Technology (MET), and supporting manufacturing facilities in process optimization. They will play a crucial role in troubleshooting process upsets, developing best practices, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The position requires a strong background in chemical engineering and excellent problem-solving abilities.
