Software Engineer, Backend (Rust)

amo is seeking an early member of their Backend team to work on server-side and client backbone development. The role involves crafting systems to handle massive traffic and data, developing cross-platform components in Rust, participating in feature development, and contributing to continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include:

1. Developing scalable systems using cutting-edge technologies
2. Collaborating on a shared Rust component for iOS and Android
3. Participating in feature design and implementation
4. Contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement
5. Owning your scope, including monitoring analytics and managing system crashes

Required skills:

• Experience with Rust or other low-level systems programming languages
• Experience with distributed systems in production
• Strong opinions about building products in the consumer social domain (preferred)
