Annapurna Labs, a subsidiary of Amazon Web Services (AWS), is seeking a Design-for-Test (DFT) Engineer for their Graviton Server team. This role is part of AWS's innovative semiconductor development efforts, specifically working on ARM-based server processors used throughout Amazon's cloud infrastructure.
The position involves working in a multi-disciplinary field that requires close collaboration with various VLSI engineering groups, including architecture, frontend design, verification, physical implementation, signal integrity, test, and reliability teams. DFT engineers are crucial throughout the entire chip design process, from initial conception to final implementation and debugging of devices in Amazon's fleet.
As part of the chip design group, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing DFT architecture, designing and verifying DFT logic components, generating test patterns, performing static timing analysis, and supporting silicon bring-up and physical failure analysis. This role combines hardware engineering expertise with software development skills, requiring proficiency in Verilog, System Verilog, and UVM methodology.
Annapurna Labs offers a unique environment that combines the innovation of a startup with the resources and scale of AWS. The company values work-life harmony and provides flexible working arrangements. They foster an inclusive culture through employee-led affinity groups and ongoing learning experiences, including Conversations on Race and Ethnicity (CORE) and AmazeCon conferences.
The position is based in Tel Aviv, Israel, and requires a BSc in Computer/Electrical Engineering plus 3+ years of relevant experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about cutting-edge semiconductor development and interested in shaping the future of cloud computing infrastructure.
