The position involves designing and maintaining cloud native network security visibility and governance capabilities, working at the intersection of security operations and cloud infrastructure. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining security systems, integrating automation tools, and ensuring robust data processing pipelines.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of security-focused software engineering experience in cloud environments, with strong expertise in AWS services, Kubernetes networking, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform. Technical proficiency in languages such as Golang, Python, or Java is essential, along with a deep understanding of cloud security principles.

Responsibilities For Senior Information Security Engineer, Cloud Security
- Design, build, and maintain cloud native network security visibility and governance capabilities
- Integrate with tooling and automation for builders and Security Operations team
- Leverage and contribute to cloud native platform building and maintaining rugged systems
- Partner with security operations analysts, compliance analysts, and builders
- Tune data processing pipeline performance for dependability, performance and cost efficiency
Requirements For Senior Information Security Engineer, Cloud Security
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer working on security minded projects in cloud environments
- 3+ years experience in cloud infrastructure development environments
- Experience with AWS Transit Gateway, and Direct Connect
- Knowledge in Kubernetes networking technologies such as Cilium or Istio
- Proficiency in Terraform and Golang, Python or Java
- Strong organizational skills to balance multiple concurrent projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor of Science in Computer science or equivalent experience
