AIML - Machine Learning Engineer, Data and ML Innovation

Do you get excited by building ML/AI applications to enhance the evaluation of Apple AI products? The Data and Machine Learning Innovation organization at Apple is seeking a skilled ML Engineer to advance machine learning and Artificial Intelligence across Apple's products. As part of the Evaluation & Data Insights team, you'll be instrumental in guiding product development through principled evaluation and rigorous analysis.

In this role, you'll partner with various engineering teams to elevate Apple product quality and inform feature development across iPhone, iPad, HomePod, Mac, Watch, and TV platforms. You'll be responsible for developing innovative tools for human-in-the-loop evaluation processes, creating automatic evaluation systems, and automating data scientists' workflows. The position requires expertise in Python programming, cloud infrastructure, and ML/GenAI applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Machine Learning or Computer Science (B.S. required, Ph.D. preferred) and experience in developing and deploying ML applications. You should be passionate about staying current with emerging trends in generative modeling and capable of quickly adopting new techniques. Industrial experience in product evaluation systems and hands-on experience with database or web applications are valuable assets.

This role offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $135,400 to $250,600, plus additional benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, stock options, and education reimbursement.
