Responsibilities For AIML - Sr. Director of Machine Learning Applied Research Data ML Innovation-Engineering
- Lead teams of machine learning and software engineers to research, build and deliver AI technologies
- Work cross-functionally on diverse problems and collaborate with software and ML engineers
- Lead research portfolio and identify long-term research goals and milestones
- Build and grow inclusive, high-functioning, diverse teams
- Prioritize research that can be applied to Apple's product development
Requirements For AIML - Sr. Director of Machine Learning Applied Research Data ML Innovation-Engineering
- 10+ years of combined management and professional experience in machine learning, research, and software engineering
- Strong organizational skills and experience working with large cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Experience in scientific computing, high-performance computing, applied machine learning, or deep learning
- Strong computer science fundamentals and software engineering principles
- MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
