Description For Custom Logic Design and STA Engineer

The Analog/Mixed Signal Design team is searching for a self-motivating Custom Logic Design and STA engineer to help craft the next generation of the world's finest devices. As a member of the team, you'll work on leading-edge technology to build best-in-class custom mixed-signal designs used to connect our world-class products to the world and optimize their performance.

In this role, you'll perform timing analysis on custom design circuits, deliver timing views to integration teams, and develop custom logic design in analog/mixed-signal circuits. You'll work closely with custom design engineers and cross-functional teams at both silicon and module levels. The position requires expertise in timing analysis concepts, high-speed design verification, and mixed-signal design techniques.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of industry experience with a Bachelor's degree, though a Master's is preferred. You should be proficient in circuit modeling, simulation, and various STA tools. Experience with SRAM design and scripting languages (Python, Tcl, Perl) is a plus.

Responsibilities For Custom Logic Design and STA Engineer

  • Custom design timing closure ownership throughout the entire project cycle
  • Develop and implement STA constraints from specs
  • Perform block- and chip-level static timing and noise analysis
  • Design and characterize transistor- and gate-level custom digital circuits in mixed-signal chips
  • Work with RTL and custom design teams on timing changes
  • Assist design verification and DFT team to debug functional and testing issues
  • Assist CAD in developing and maintaining methodologies and flows

Requirements For Custom Logic Design and STA Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Solid understanding of timing analysis concepts
  • Experience of timing analysis and verification in high-speed design
  • In-depth knowledge of mixed-signal design techniques
  • Strong track record of delivering silicon IPs
  • Proficiency in circuit modeling and simulation
