Description For Design Verification Engineer

This role focuses on digital design verification, enabling the production of fully functional first silicon for IP designs.

You'll be responsible for all phases of pre-silicon verification, including establishing DV methodology, test-plan development, and verification environment development. Your work will directly impact the quality of Apple's innovative hardware products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality and reliability.

Responsibilities For Design Verification Engineer

  • Ensure bug-free first silicon for part of the SoC / IP
  • Develop detailed test and coverage plans
  • Develop verification methodology
  • Create verification environment including stimulus, checkers, assertions
  • Execute verification plans
  • Debug test failures
  • Track and report DV progress
  • Develop block, IP and SoC level test-benches

Requirements For Design Verification Engineer

Python
  • BS degree in technical discipline with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Deep knowledge of SystemVerilog and UVM
  • Deep knowledge in developing scalable and portable test-benches
  • Experience with verification methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge of C/C++
  • Experience with serial protocols such as PCIe or USB
  • Basic knowledge of formal verification methodology
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, TCL
