Embedded Real Time Critical Control Firmware Engineer

Apple is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer passionate about real-time critical control to join their silicon design group. The position involves designing and implementing highly optimized algorithms for memory and cycle efficiency, working with strict real-time deadlines. You'll be responsible for implementing critical features like power gating, tracking loops, and spec-based physical layer procedures. The role requires building validation frameworks and contributing to pre-silicon emulation systems.

Key qualifications include a BS degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, strong expertise in bare metal control firmware optimization, and deep understanding of firmware constraints. Proficiency in C/C++, computer architecture, and scripting languages is essential. Experience with asymmetric multiprocessing, 5G/4G protocols, and RTOS is highly valued.
