Description For Graphics (GPU) Performance Analysis Architect

Apple's Silicon Technologies group is seeking a Graphics (GPU) Performance Analysis Architect to join their team. This role is part of the group responsible for designing and manufacturing next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processors and system-on-chip (SoC). As part of the GPU Performance Analysis team, you'll work with architecture, design, and software partners on performance analysis, tuning, and debug of Apple's future GPU architectures.

The role involves developing comprehensive performance test plans, analyzing complex performance issues, and proposing innovative hardware solutions to enhance GPU performance. You'll be responsible for creating tools for efficient measurement and improvement of GPU performance, while working closely with cross-functional teams to validate functionality and quantify performance benefits of implemented features.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in computer architecture, GPU performance analysis, and programming expertise in OpenGL/CL, Metal API, Python, C, and C++. This position requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and a BS degree.
