Description For Hardware Technology Engineering Project Specialist

Apple's Hardware Technology Engineering Program Management Team is seeking a resourceful Engineering Program Specialist (EPS) to handle NPI related procurement, budget, logistic and vendor bringup activities. The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with program managers, global commodity managers, and finance team to handle development budgets and procurement activities.
  • Reviewing vendor delivery reports and ensuring on-time delivery of engineering equipment and materials to multiple locations.
  • Managing PPO lab tester and equipment movement, working with the facility team to ensure on-time lab setup.
  • Working directly with PCBA vendors to monitor material readiness and delivery schedules for test boards.
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously and handling competing priorities.

The role requires a minimum of 3+ years of relevant industry experience in procurement, logistics, and vendor management. Preferred qualifications include a BA/BS Degree, experience with managing and procuring customized engineering equipment, services, and test boards (PCBA), working knowledge of international trade compliance and logistics, proficiency in Excel or Numbers, strong communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
