Description For Power System Design and Integration Engineer (HWEE) – Wireless Power Division

At Apple, we're seeking a Power System Design and Integration Engineer to join our Wireless Power Technology team. Our mission is to create the world's best Wireless Charging user-experience by inventing state-of-the-art technologies. We develop wireless charging solutions for products like iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods.

The role involves leading the integration of inductive technology into products while collaborating with multiple teams including architecture, firmware, system EE, silicon, noise and vibration, safety, thermal, reliability, operations, and regulatory teams. You'll be developing wireless power systems, meeting high standards for analysis and manufacturing, and working cross-functionally to ensure all specifications and requirements are met.

Key responsibilities include writing requirements and specifications, defining factory tests, performing failure analysis, and guiding algorithm development. The ideal candidate brings strong EE fundamentals in power electronics, experience with simulation platforms, and solid skills in data analysis using tools like Python and Matlab.

This position offers competitive compensation ($143,100-$264,200) plus equity opportunities through stock programs.   • Developing and designing wireless power systems

  • Solid EE fundamentals in both analog and digital design with focus on Power Electronics
  • Solid fundamentals in modeling, data collection, data analysis, and statistical analysis tools
  • Circuit level simulation experience in EE simulation platforms
  • BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
  • Up to 20% travel required
