QA Software Development Team Lead

The Hardware Engineering team is seeking a QA Software Development Team Lead to spearhead automation testing and quality assurance initiatives across multiple custom products.

As a QA Software Development Team Lead, you'll be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of QA engineers while driving test strategy implementation. You'll focus on enhancing engineering processes, designing next-generation tools, and ensuring software quality throughout the production pipeline. The role requires exceptional leadership skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the drive to develop sustainable test environments.

Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive test strategies, managing test execution timelines, implementing automation frameworks, and ensuring effective communication between QA and development teams. You'll oversee defect tracking, prioritize resolution efforts, and guide your team toward project goals through regular coaching and performance reviews.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of QA automation experience, with at least 4 years in team leadership. You should have deep expertise in test harness creation, automation frameworks, and programming languages including C, Java, Python, and JavaScript. Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and experience with tools like Selenium, Appium, and Jira is highly valued.
