Secure Systems Architect - Platform Architecture

Apple's Platform Architecture group is seeking a Secure Systems Architect to join their team responsible for connecting hardware, software, and servers into a unified system. This role focuses on securing the world's most advanced consumer devices and improving the security of Apple's products.

As a Secure Systems Architect, you will define the architecture and oversee distributed web services that set and enforce security policy for Apple products' development, manufacture, deployment, and operation. You'll work with cross-functional teams to drive security improvements while maintaining Apple's world-class product design standards.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with various teams to define security policies, driving alignment on security initiatives at the executive level, identifying emerging threats, developing threat models, and creating detailed system-level specifications. You'll also champion the adoption of industry-leading security technologies across multiple product categories.

The ideal candidate brings 20+ years of relevant experience, strong technical expertise in web services and security architecture, and excellent communication skills. You'll need experience with programming languages like Python and Go, DevOps practices, and deep knowledge of cryptographic principles.
