Description For Security Engineer, Employee Experience & Productivity

Apple is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join their Corporate Systems Engineering team within IST. This role is part of an embedded security team responsible for securing 100+ applications. The position focuses on developing tools, establishing security best practices, and adopting a ShiftLeft mindset to secure the entire SDLC lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical abilities and a passion for application security. You'll work with a exceptional team solving unique challenges that directly impact the security of numerous products. Key responsibilities include conducting security architecture reviews, threat modeling, penetration testing, and working closely with developers to improve security posture.

You'll be responsible for designing and developing innovative security tools, conducting code reviews, and establishing best practices. The role requires expertise in web application security, architecture review, and threat modeling. Experience with programming languages like Java or Python, and strong knowledge of Linux systems is highly valued.
