Site Reliability Engineer – Software CSG

Do you love building elegant solutions to highly complex challenges? As part of Apple's Silicon Technologies group, you'll help design and manufacture our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor and system-on-chip (SoC). The Hardware Technology Compute and Storage Group is seeking a customer service oriented, self-driven SRE to join their operations team with an emphasis on software automation. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in supporting high-availability environments. You'll be responsible for supporting and improving the Hardware Technology engineering environment, driving automation efforts, and participating in on-call rotations. This role combines technical expertise with operational excellence to ensure Apple's silicon design teams have reliable and efficient infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include supporting day-to-day operations, monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure, implementing automation solutions, and mentoring team members. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including containerization, Kubernetes, and various programming languages while supporting geographically diverse silicon design teams.

The position requires expertise in software development, system administration, and operational support, with opportunities to work on complex challenges at scale.
