Site Reliability Engineering Leader - Security, Apple Service Engineering

Apple Services Engineering (ASE) is seeking a passionate Site Reliability Engineering Leader to join their team in Seattle. This role will lead a new SRE team dedicated to foundational security services, working at the intersection of infrastructure reliability and security. The position involves managing critical security infrastructure services that are fundamental to Apple's operations, from host access and disk encryption to identity and authentication.

The role requires a strong leader who can establish and grow a global SRE team while partnering closely with the Security Development team. You'll be responsible for bringing up and maturing new services as part of Apple's infrastructure investments, focusing on improving reliability, manageability, and security posture of these critical systems.

As an SRE leader, you'll oversee services that are crucial for Apple's entire infrastructure, requiring sophisticated approaches to change management, reliability, and resiliency. You'll work with both on-premises and cloud-based services, ensuring they meet Apple's high standards for performance and security.

The position offers a competitive compensation package including base pay between $239,700 and $360,200, plus additional benefits such as stock options, comprehensive healthcare, and educational reimbursement.
