Software Engineer (BI Tools Platform), Ai & Data Platforms

The Global Business Intelligence (GBI) team is seeking an experienced BI Tools Platform Engineer to build high quality, scalable and resilient distributed systems that power Apple's analytics platform.

The role involves managing and maintaining Apple's Enterprise Data warehouse landscape which caters to various real-time, near real-time and batch analytical solutions. These solutions are integral to business functions like Sales, Operations, Finance, AppleCare, Marketing and Internet Services, enabling critical decision-making.

As a BI Tools Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for managing multiple deployments on hybrid cloud environments, ensuring platform reliability and resiliency. You'll build automation scripts for infrastructure activities, handle system upgrades, and implement governance. The role requires collaboration with product vendors for issue resolution and administration of the Tableau platform, including platform engineering, release management, and infrastructure planning.
