Sr Messages Services and Security Engineer

Join Apple's Messages Services and Security team as a senior engineer responsible for designing and ensuring the robustness of Messages' core delivery and security features. You'll work on building features like Sticker Tapbacks, Send Later, sending Apple Cash through iMessage, Satellite messaging, and RCS integration. You'll also be at the forefront of Messages security, working on BlastDoor technology for isolation and sandboxing of untrusted data.

Key responsibilities: • Design end-to-end protocols for innovative new Messages features • Develop maintainable Swift frameworks to improve service reliability and security • Build infrastructure for safe data handling to prevent zero-click attacks • Create testable code to ensure consistent quality • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build exciting new user experiences • Work on protocols for iMessage, Messages via Satellite, Emergency SOS via Satellite, Messages for Business, SMS Relay, and RCS
