Sr. Network Operations Engineer

Apple is seeking a Senior Network Operations Engineer to join their Software and Services team. This role is crucial in maintaining Apple's cloud network infrastructure that powers services like iCloud, iTunes, Siri, and Maps used by billions of customers worldwide.

As a Sr. Network Operations Engineer, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Kubernetes infrastructure, software firewalls, and VPC management. You'll play a key role in incident management of cloud network services to ensure high availability, scale, and resilience. The position requires participation in periodic on-call rotations.

The ideal candidate will bring strong Linux systems administration experience, proficiency in infrastructure-as-code practices, and expertise in Kubernetes cluster management. You should be comfortable with Python, Ansible, or Shell scripting, and have a solid understanding of modern technology stacks including containers, IP networking, HTTP, and SSL.
