Description For Touch ASIC Architect (Analog)

Apple's Touch Technology team is at the forefront of developing groundbreaking touch solutions for iconic products like iPhone, iPad, and MacBooks. We're seeking a Touch ASIC Architect to join our innovative team in creating the world's best multi-touch user experiences.

As a Touch ASIC Architect, you'll be responsible for designing and developing next-generation touch technologies that are central to Apple's product lineup. You'll work in a collaborative, hands-on environment that fosters engineering excellence and innovation. The role involves analyzing applications and architecting optimal analog front end (AFE) solutions for touch and other sensing ASICs, including multiple analog acquisition and digitization channels with complex filtering and DSP.

You'll be architecting Touch sensing systems and the ASICs required to realize them, translating high-level user requirements into realizable systems that meet ambitious goals. This involves high-level modeling of proposed solutions and creating detailed specifications. As a highly cross-functional role, you'll collaborate across teams to identify critical aspects of how designs interact with overall products.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $175,800 to $312,200, comprehensive benefits including medical coverage, retirement benefits, and equity opportunities through stock programs. You'll be part of a team that values innovation, technical excellence, and the pursuit of creating exceptional user experiences that millions of people interact with daily.
