As a Wireless RF Compliance Systems Engineer in Apple's Wireless Systems and Compliance Engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring wireless regulatory compliance for new Apple products with advanced radio technologies.
You'll be working at the intersection of hardware and software, applying your expertise in wireless system design and characterization to address emission regulatory requirements in consumer products. This role involves translating complex emission requirements into system requirements for new chipsets and platforms, while architecting and coordinating the execution of software features necessary for regulatory compliance.
Your responsibilities will include pre-fetching potential emission concerns using simulation tools and schematic reviews, collaborating with engineering teams to define emission test plans for custom features, and working with test equipment vendors. You'll also be instrumental in debugging various regulatory emission issues and working with cross-functional teams including RFHW, Antenna, Product Design, and EE teams to drive design changes and address issues.
