As a Wireless Stability Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and executing system stability tests on Apple's latest products, including iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watch. You'll work hands-on with diagnostics, analytics, and conduct both lab and field experimentations to identify and drive improvements in wireless connectivity.

The position requires deep technical knowledge of cellular technologies including 5G NR, LTE, and IMS, along with strong understanding of cellular protocol stacks. Responsibilities For Wireless Stability Engineer, Cellular

  • Develop and execute system overall stability tests on Apple products
  • Perform hands-on diagnostics, analytics, lab/field experimentations
  • Work with platform architecture teams
  • Drive improvement proposals and baseband optimizations
  • Qualify wireless features and software for iPhones/iPads and Apple Watch product lines
  • Complete documented and ad hoc testing

Requirements For Wireless Stability Engineer, Cellular

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • 5 years of progressive experience
  • Experience with 5G, LTE, UMTS, CDMA, or GSM
  • Experience with MTBF, Stability Testing, Automation tools
  • Knowledge in testing cellular protocols
  • Experience in operating simulators
  • Knowledge of Access Stratum
  • Knowledge of Non-Access Stratum
  • Understanding of 3GPP and ETSI standard
