Wireless Systems Algorithm Design Engineer

The position involves developing next-generation wireless communication systems, creating novel algorithms, protocols, and architectures to enhance performance and reliability. You'll work in cross-functional teams with RF/analog, hardware, software, and platform designers to shape the future of wireless technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and simulate innovative wireless communication systems for emerging applications
• Implement system models and develop algorithms for performance optimization
• Create solutions for RF/circuits impairments through calibration and pre-distortion techniques
• Define control procedures for physical layer hardware modules
• Collaborate with digital designers for power and area-efficient implementations
• Work with firmware teams on software implementation and hardware acceleration
• Hands-on lab work for silicon bring-up, testing, and optimization

Required Qualifications:

• BS with 10+ years of relevant industry experience
• Deep expertise in physical layer core algorithms (MIMO, channel estimation, coding theory)
• Strong background in communication theory and signal processing
• Proficiency in C/C++ and MATLAB
• Knowledge of wireless protocols (5G, WiFi, Bluetooth)
