Description For Software Engineer - Mission Sim

Applied Intuition is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Mission Sim team, a dynamic "startup within a startup" focused on extending Applied's expertise in on-road simulation to multi-domain, large-scale simulation for collaborative autonomy. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of autonomous systems and defense technology, with rapid iteration cycles and direct user impact.

The position involves working across various development areas, including frontend UI/UX for 3D rendering, backend application implementation in cutting-edge simulation systems, and integration with autonomous vehicle stacks. As part of a newer product team, engineers have the opportunity to work across multiple domains and make significant contributions to the product's development.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about software development and ready to learn new technologies if needed. The role offers comprehensive benefits including competitive base salary ($125,000-$222,000), equity options, full health coverage, 401k with employer match, and various stipends for learning and wellness.

Working from the Mountain View office, you'll be part of a company that serves 18 of the top 20 global automakers and has a growing presence in the defense sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact in the autonomous systems industry while working with cutting-edge technology and direct user feedback.
