Description For DevOps Engineer

Archipelago Analytics Inc. is transforming the commercial property insurance industry through their AI-powered data network. Founded in 2018, they've achieved Series B funding and serve major property brokers managing over 500 of the world's largest commercial property portfolios. They're seeking a DevOps Engineer based in Noida, India to join their growing team of 20+ engineers.

The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure for their SAAS business. As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for improving system reliability, implementing automated CI/CD pipelines, optimizing cloud resources, and collaborating with engineering teams on architecture decisions. The position requires strong expertise in AWS services, Terraform, and container orchestration.

The ideal candidate will have experience with modern DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code, monitoring and alerting systems, and CI/CD pipelines. They should be comfortable working with technologies like AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes. Experience with React, Go, Python, and PostgreSQL is a plus.

Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer

  • Achieve 99.9% uptime for production application deployment
  • Improve monitoring, alerting, and resolution
  • Participate in on-call rotation and process
  • Reduce integration testing and deployment time
  • Enable self-service deployments by engineering squads
  • Maintain and develop infrastructure changes in terraform IAC
  • Support engineering squads in design and architecture of new cloud services
  • Implement best practices as terraform modules and documentation
  • Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost
  • Implement and operate open source/third party services

Requirements For DevOps Engineer

  • Strong knowledge of AWS stack, especially Serverless deployments (ECS, Lambdas, EKS)
  • Proficient with Terraform

  • Proficiency with shell scripting and automation languages
  • Ability to design and manage CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to work as part of a team but also focus and execute on deliverables
