Senior/Lead Scala Engineer

This role is part of the largest strategic transformation in the company's history, developing greenfield target state technology for over 4 million customers.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to join a passionate team working on cutting-edge technology in the energy sector. You'll be part of an autonomous Product team within the Fintech domain, covering Energy Trading, Payments, and Exports. The role involves collaboration with teammates in Lithuania and the UK, focusing on building API-first services and contributing to a new target architecture.

As a Senior/Lead Scala Engineer, you'll work primarily with Scala and the Typelevel stack, while having opportunities to learn TypeScript and Node. The technology stack includes modern tools like Terraform and Kubernetes on GCP, and you'll be involved in complex challenges and development process improvements. The role requires 5+ years of experience, strong Scala knowledge, and experience with event-based architectures and cloud-native development.
