Ardent is seeking a Lead Zero Trust Engineer to join their team in a fully remote position. This role supports an innovative Federal Agency and requires collaboration with Product owners, developers, cloud engineers, and operations support personnel to plan, design, test, and deliver Zero Trust (ZT) Architectures and SecDevOps solutions.
The ideal candidate will lead teams in building comprehensive zero trust solutions encompassing Users, Applications, and Infrastructure. They will work within an Agile SDLC framework, managing multiple project phases and serving as a subject matter expert in SecDevOps best practices. The role involves significant work with AWS and multi-cloud environments, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Key responsibilities include coordinating coding and unit testing, managing secure deployments, and working with various technologies including Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud services. The position requires deep expertise in security aspects such as user credentials, authentication, SSO, and security analytics.

Requirements include U.S. citizenship, a bachelor's degree in a related field, 10+ years of software development experience, and 7+ years of combined software development and technical operations support experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with both monolithic and microservice architectures, strong AWS knowledge, and proven project management abilities.
