Founding Software Engineer

We're looking for a Founding Software Engineer to join our team of top-tier engineers and innovators who are passionate about technology and disrupting the status quo. We don't just hire talent; we cultivate a culture where creativity and bold thinking are the norm.

As a Founding Software Engineer, you'll:

• Work with modern technologies across frontend and backend to ship and own features
• Rapidly develop and scale our backend infrastructure
• Collaborate with engineering, UX and product teams, including the founder
• Deliver well-tested, maintainable code while moving fast
• Mentor and coach less experienced engineers

Technical requirements:

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent (brilliant dropouts welcome)
• 6+ years experience in fast-paced startup environments
• Expertise in React/Node.js for frontend/backend development
• Deep system design skills with AI-powered, scalable systems experience
• Cloud services expertise (AWS/GCP/Azure) including CI/CD
• Modern backend stack and database proficiency
• AI-enhanced API development and real-time data processing experience
• Strong frontend development skills, particularly React.js
• Experience with map frameworks (Mapbox, Google Maps) is a plus
