Senior Software Engineer, Product

Asana is seeking experienced software engineers for their product engineering group in New York, focusing on building core features for work management within and across teams. The role involves full-stack development, designing and implementing features used by millions of users, with emphasis on both large features and smaller product enhancements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working full-stack to design, build and release new functionalities
• Contributing to Asana's core product with focus on technical challenges
• Mentoring other engineers through pairing and code reviews
• Owning technical design and execution for medium/large projects
• Partnering with Tech Lead on technical strategy

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience with large codebases
• 1+ years leading complex projects
• Strong judgment in balancing speed with code quality
• Cross-functional collaboration experience
• Passion for productivity and team collaboration

The position offers a competitive compensation package ($171,000 - $258,000 base salary) plus equity and benefits. Work arrangement is office-centric hybrid with standard in-office days Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
